Police rescue kidnapped Benue director
The Benue State Police Command on Monday said it rescued the Director of Treasury of the Benue State Ministry of Finance, Mr. Geoffrey Agada, who was kidnapped from his residence by unknown gunmen.

The police said Agada was rescued by officers of Operation Zenda in an undisclosed area of the state after spending four days in captivity with his abductors.
The State Commissioner of Police, Mukkadas Garba, said his team “worked round the clock to rescue Agada unhurt while he was in captivity and by the grace of God he was rescued alive without the payment of any ransom”.
Garba added that his team has “commenced a full-scale investigation to arrest all those behind the act”.
