Army tasks media on objective reportage
The Nigeria Army has encouraged media practitioner to be very objective in their reportage so as to avoid misinformation.
The Chief of Policy and Plans Lieutenant General Lamidi Adeosun made the call when he received a delegation from Africa Stewardship Magazine at the Army headquarters.

Lieutenant General Lamidi Adeosun said “Members of the Fourth Estate should imbibe the ethics of journalism and always be objective in their reportage about the activities of Nigerian Military to enhance the national unity.”
He commended the efforts being dispensed by the members of the press in order to uphold the national security.
He appreciated the publisher and his team and restated commitment to a robust media and military synergy.
While commenting on behalf of the team, the Editor-in-Chief of Africa Stewardship News Magazine, Abraham Sule, appreciated the Nigerian Army and promised to maintain the outfit’s professional inclination in conveying and projecting the image of the Army in the interest of national security and good journalism.
