Police nab kidnapper of OAU lecturer, three others
The police in Osun State have paraded four suspected kidnappers, one of them allegedly abducted a lecturer at the Obafemi Awolowo University Professor Olayinka Adegbehingbe.
Rafiu Hammed reports that in the last few months, a number of cases of kidnapping were recorded in Osun State. It happened in different places in the particularly along Ikire/Ibadan express way.

The suspected kidnappers who spoke in Hausa language claimed ignorance of the crime did not make any confessional statement during interview with the newsmen.
But the Commissioner of Police, Abiodun Ige said the command had conducted identification parade. She also paraded four students of Osun State University who are suspected members of a cult group.
The police foiled their plans to cause trouble on their campus and got them arrested, assured assured that the police would continue to work with other Security agencies towards ensuring a peaceful state.
