Father-In-Law To Buhari’s ADC Regains Freedom

The Police have confirmed release of the abducted father-in-law to President Muhammadu Buhari’s aide de camp (ADC), Musa Umar.

The Magajin Garin Daura, District Head of Daura has regained his freedom on Tuesday morning, according to Kano Spokesman of the Police, Abdullahi Haruna.

Although a source told Solacebase that there was a heavy gun battle in the rescue operations between security personnel and the kidnappers

Musa Umar was abducted in his Daura residence, shortly after observing Maghrib prayer two months ago.

DSP Abdullahi Haruna said the IGP Operation Puff Adder Intelligent Response Team in conjuction with Kano Police command carried out an operation at Gangan Ruwa quaters in Kumbotso local government area at 8.00pm

He said the operation led to the rescue of Magajin Garin Daura unhurt.

He explained that arrest were made and arms and ammunition were recovered.

The Spokesman added that the area has been cordoned and efforts intensified to arrest fleeing suspects.
