Man allegedly defiles 11-year-old deaf, dumb girl in Anambra
A 28-year-old man has allegedly defiled an 11-year-old deaf and dumb girl in Awka, Anambra State.
The suspect, one Ifeanyi Alagba was arrested by police detectives attached to ‘B’ division, Awka on Wednesday afternoon.
The incident was confirmed by the Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr Mohammed Haruna, who also confirmed the arrest of the suspect.

Haruna in a press statement made available on Thursday morning in Awka said the victim had been taken to the hospital for proper medical examination, while investigations were ongoing.
He said, “Suspect allegedly had unlawful carnal knowledge of an 11-year-old deaf and dumb girl of same address on the 9/6/2019 while the victim’s mother was away”
“Meanwhile, scene was visited by Police detectives and victim was taken to the hospital for medical examination. Case is under investigation,” Haruna said.
