A 34-year-old man, Taye Adeoye has been arrested by men of the Nigeria Police for allegedly killing a barber identified as Olufemi Gbadebo.
Adeoye, who was nabbed by police officers from the Divisional Police Station in Okitipupa Local Government Area of Ondo State where the incident reportedly occurred, was said to have landed punches on the barber following argument surrounding a missing N1,000 note.

An eyewitness disclosed that, “Gbadebo noticed that the money was missing where he kept it.
“He pointed accusing finger at Tayo who went ahead to empty his pocket after insisting that he never took the money.
“Gbadebo was not convinced. He went after the suspect asking him to produce the money, insisting that he would not allow him go.
“The issue thereafter degenerated into fisticuffs which led to the death of the deceased.”
Meanwhile, the suspect has been transferred to the state police headquarters, Igbatoro, Akure for further interrogation.
