Abba Kyari in closed door meeting with Service Chiefs
The Chief of Staff to the President, Abba Kyari, on Thursday, held a brief meeting with Service Chiefs On Thursday at the Presidential Villa.
Those who were at the Villa included the Chief of Defence Staff, Gen. Gabriel Olonisakin; Chief of Army Staff, Lt.-Gen. Tukur Buratai; Chief of Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Ibok Ekwe Iba; and the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshall Abubakar- Sadique.
As at the time of filing this report, the agenda of the closed-door meeting was unknown.
It was gathered that President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday met behind closed doors with Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State over the killing of innocent Nigerians at the Presidential Villa, Abuja
El-rufai used the opportunity of the meeting to brief the president on the fresh violent attacks in some communities in Kajuru and Kachia local government areas of the state.
Also, recall that the Police in Kaduna confirmed the death of 29 persons including a policeman in a fresh attack on Kajuru area of Kaduna State on Tuesday.
Concise News reports that the figure was given by the Commissioner of Police in the state, Ahmad Abdur-Rahman, during a news briefing in his office.

The commissioner added that two policemen were injured in the attack while 40 houses were burnt.
“Today, in the early hours of the morning, my Divisional Police Officer in Kajuru local government, got information that unknown gunmen entered Karma village in Kajuru and started shooting,” he said.
“We immediately sent a detachment of mobile policemen to the area, who on
entering Karmai and Maro villages also came under fire from the bandits.”
According to him, the attackers went from hamlet to hamlet burning houses and killing people.
“I and the 1 Division Garrison Commander with the security components entered the village to assess the carnage that took place,” the police chief added.
“We counted 40 houses burnt and a lot of people injured. At the time, we counted 27 persons dead, including a policeman; later we uncovered two more dead bodies, making it 29.”
Abdur-Rahman disclosed that the deployment of more security personnel to the area had brought the situation under control.
“This kind of animalistic carnage must stop; the law enforcement agencies will never tolerate this nonsense again.
“Enough is enough, we are drawing a battle line with any person who does not like peace to prevail in this our society.”
However, the police boss said no arrest had been made but assured that the perpetrators would be arrested and prosecuted.
