Zone 6 Police Command gets new AIG

Mr Musa Kimo, has resumed duties as the new and 26th Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG) for Zone 6 Command in Calabar.

Kimo’s resumption notice is contained in a statement signed by the Zonal Public Relations Officer, DSP Okpabi Nelson in Calabar, on Tuesday.

“The Zone 6 Command of the Nigeria Police has a new AIG. He is Musa Kimo, who succeeded AIG Adeyemi Ogunjemilusi.

“The new AIG, who hails from Borno state, was appointed into the Nigeria Police Force in 1986 as cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police.

“He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in political Science from the University of Sokoto and has held several command/staff appointments, as well as attended numerous professional courses.

“He is an intelligent and experienced police officer who operates an open door policy with zero tolerance for crime and allergic to corruption,” the statement said.

NAN reports that Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Ebonyi and Rivers are states under the Zone 6 Command, with headquarters in Calabar.
