Isa Gusau Remains Spokesperson to Governor Shettima
The Special Adviser on Communications and Strategy and spokesman to Governor Kashim Shettima, Mallam Isa Gusau has withdrawn a resignation letter he tendered early in the week over a political misunderstanding in the state.
Isa Gusau’s resignation was prompted by disagreements with the Borno State chairman of APC and a former commissioner in the state over political communication strategies.
A source close to the Governor told PRNigeria that the withdrawal of the letter was following the interventions by Governor Shettima and other dignitaries within and outside the state.
The source said: “Gusau has fully resumed his duties at Government House after the interventions as the Governor directed him to draft some of his speeches for forth-coming events and other media engagements in and outside the state.
